Perhaps one needs to think about the kids and the fact that you will be putting this mountain of debt on their shoulders. For this will last 30 years and those in the 1st grade today will be 36 when the debt is paid off.
You help a community progress by having lower taxes not higher taxes!

I am so glad you said that!!! The facilities committee of 2002-2003 came up with the same solution as this 2008 one! And you know what! You can say well, see we should have done it then and we would not have to pay for this now!! What do you think OUR KIDS WILL BE SAYING IN FIVE YEARS IF WE DON"T DO IT NOW!? Why didn't you do it then when you had the chance? You guys need to wake up and stop being so negative on a positive issue. Your hurting not only yourself but our kids!!
That is the thing I am hearing all over town, if we dont do it now, think how bad it will be for our kids future and their kids future. We are thinking of our children and grandchildren! It's time to say Yes! and i believe and know pittsburg will say so too! No holding back!
