Do you feel like you're paying more than your fair share of property taxes? Well, you're not alone. Many homeowners believe their homes are over-assessed, especially after the housing crisis pummeled home values by 30 percent or so from their peaks.
And guess what? A high percentage of homes really are over-assessed -- anywhere from 30 percent to 60 percent, including commercial property, according to the National Taxpayers Union. Yet few homeowners do anything about it. Nationally, only 2 to 3 percent of homeowners ever attempt an appeal.

Do not speak ill of Mr. Brison and the appraisal board or you will suffer another 50% increase. Former board member Bobby Richardson showed me the lettet he received after questioning the appraisal board. They came and reappraised everything he had. The list of names who received the letter had been sent to Henderson in June, his name was added within 7 days of his letter to the editor, in October. He has copies of the list which was faxed to him on the day he received the letter from the lady in Henderson, his name is not on the list. The next day he asked Geraldine for a copy of the list, and his name had been added. Why is this kind of retaliation allowed to go on in a supposedly free country. This community will continue to live in fear as long as Mr. Brison is allowed to sit on the appraisal board. The other 2 likely culprits have either died or been removed by the electorate, it is time for this to happen to this one also
This clown definitely needs to come off. He went to school with me and there is nothing you can say about him that would surprise me. Many of his little secrets are known to me because he can't keep his mouth shut.
Your twi-lite super used to be our twi-lite super. You call her a conniver and a liar. You folks in Camp County may be a little smarter than we are. It took us much longer to find her out. Gosh, we are glad she is not running our school anymore. She is not trust worthy.
successful people surround themselves with people who can make up for their weaknesses. Twi-lite super is afraid of smarter people because she is so weak in so many areas. This is why she tries to run everything, because she has no confidence in any of her administrators. Poor, poor, pitiful l'il not so brite twi-lite
Steelman is right about her. She was the worse thing that ever happened to our school. She has tunnel vision and only concentrates on football and trying to win football games. She feels as this makes her popular among the masses.
She has her favorites and treats everyone differently according to whether they can help her or not.
She is a shallow thinker and easily distracted. I bet all of you really have her distracted now.
When she gets distracted (which is nearly all the time) she just as well stay at the house because she can not reason sensibly. She makes terrible decisions and absolutely "messes" on the porch.
I am like Steelman and am glad that she was finally forced out of our school.
BlueTiger, are you who I think you are? 6066? If you are then I know you can tell it all about the worthless twi-lite.
You had closer dealings than I did. My contact came as third party but I have known many that have felt the wrath of her conniving.
Steelman, you don't know me and I don't know you. We both know twi-lite and know what a screw-up she is.
