Buy American, or not

Bob in Colorado stated in a recent publishing:

"Requiring local governments to buy American will undoubtedly cost local taxpayers more. But, the purpose of taking federal tax dollars and spreading them around the country is to increase economic spending on a national level. It's not free money - we've all paid for it. So if Conrad, Mont., has to pay more so that more Americans are being put to work in another American city or county, then that's the price that needs to be paid. If the project was truly 'shovel ready' without the ARRA grant, then the local government can proceed without the ARRA grant and fund the project with foreign materials."

There are several copies of a petition being circulated to have Twi-lite's certification for a superintendent to be removed.
The State Board of Education Certification (SBEC) hears all complaints on individuals who have been reported to have erred in the school business.
Several of us feel that Pollan severly erred in her capacity as Pittsburg ISD Superintendent when she openly violated local school board policy.
Superintendents have been fired for less. There are other questionable activities that are being considered before filing the petitions with SBEC.
We expect a full investigation and I am told that some of the complaintants will be interviewed during the process.
