What is a school trustee's favorite extracurricular activity? Spending taxpayer money!
Educrats and most school trustee's seem to have a hard time understanding the concept of education. Most believe that bigger and newer buildings are the answer to their problems. Most know that these buildings don't take the TAKS exams and the building has very little to do with student success.
Schools are not the only problem! Cities and Counties have a spending problem as well.

Since it was bought with taxpayer money it could be loaned out to tax payers, like the books in the library. I'll use it this weekend and bring it back munday

Freakin' moron...If you think it's such a great idea to spend money on something, then you and all the people that agree with you can fork over the money to pay for it. And it will be yours. But you have ABSOLUTELY NO RIGHT to FORCE me to pay for something that I don't want, need or agree with! THAT IS THEFT and you are using the government as your "goon." Try reading "The Law" by Frederic Bastiat. I think even you will be able to comprehend most of it; it doesn't have too many big words.
