Texas Monthly’s Best: Sen. John Carona (R-Dallas) - This is the guy that sponsored legislation for local option elections to add an additional ten cents a gallon to gasoline for local governments to use as they see fit with regards to transportation projects.
Texas Monthly must have non-profit status! An outfit making a profit would not attempt to pay more in taxes.
